This Dog training book by Gene Sower, editor & moderator of Dog BYTES Forum, is an eBook that focuses on House training your dog. Primarily written for puppies, (It’s always easier to house train your dog while he’s young) this book works just as well for older dogs.

Price at $14.95, “Happy Housetraining” is 32 pages long. While I agree with Gene on the importance of establishing control over your dog, (becoming his alpha leader) this book however does not teach you how! – (join our Dogger eNews & let us teach you then! :->)

Based on a proven crate training method, This book has absolutely covered every aspect of potty training. From feeding schedule, drinking routine to choice of training method that suits you, Gene have them all covered using a step-by-step and easy-to-follow potty training guide. If you’re one of those who can’t plan a decent schedule (just like me!), freak not because Gene has also included 6 sample schedules within the book.

In “Happy Housetraining”, I found great value in the fact that it comes linked to a forum of real live dog lovers, vets and dog experts, including Gene himself. This is where you can post or find any of your unanswered questions, if any. For your info, there’re no sure proof training methods in this world. If Gene’s method just happen not to work on your dog (very very rare but still possible), you’ll be sure he’s at the forum to help you out.

This book is certainly not the comprehensive guide for dog training. But if you’re most concern about your dog’s potty problem at home, and are anxious to get this problem solve first. I highly recommend this book for it's certainly one of the best value for money!
