Dog Training SECRETS!
By Charlie Lafave
This Dog training book by Charlie Lafave is a well laid eBook that seeks to cover the all-round aspect of training your dog, especially House Training. It also covers a step-by-step training system on basic obedience training and offers solutions to solving some common dog’s behavior problems.
Price at $39.97, “Dog Training Secrets” is 215 pages long with 15 chapters. After reading this book, I must say I was particularly disappointed with the amount of details cater to obedience training. I really expected more details as the book itself also stress much on the importance of obedience training. Covering 10 commands in all, they are actually not discuss in depth and are more suited to beginner trainings only.
On the other hand, written in plain, easy-to-understand English, with no complicated instructions, This book is simply fantastic in the House Training department. From chewing, barking, digging to jumping puppies or dogs, this book not only covers all aspects of House Training in great details but also offers plentiful of solutions.
Apart from that, Crate training - an important stress-relieving lesson for many dog owners is also cover in length and depth. I can assure that with the aided of this book, House-training your dog will never be a problem ever again!
In “Dog Training Secrets”, I found the greatest value in the fact that Charlie provides a vast amount of info and details to Potty Train your dog effectively. From past experience, I know that Potty Training can be a major headache for many dog owners including myself in the past. In this book, Charlie has dedicated an entire chapter and more to discuss this specific topic. I can say Charlie has left no stones unturned in his quest to help you
Potty train your dog.
In the bonus department, Charlie offers 5 bonuses which are very useful to have around. I personally find “Introduction to Clicker Training” particularly helpful if you are into click training.
For my money, This book can do even better if Charlie could include more details in the obedience training department and with more pictures. "Well, we humans are basically visual animals..."
All in all, if you’re facing tons of home related behavioral problems and is looking to get your dog back in hand. This all-round guide book is definitely the one!
